Heres some work I completed last quarter of my junior year at SCAD....To give you a quick background the project was to create a cultural arts center for Savannah's Place for Art, Culture & Education (S.P.A.C.E). The site was located on the historically and culturally rich but forgotten sector of Savannah's MLK Blvd. My approach was to create connections through the spacial planning which created a series of voids to help create evocative view to anyone passing by to draw them into the cultural arts center and to really create a city ( the architecture) within the already established community a"City within a community" The site is also specific in the way that there are these marvelous trees on the site which the local community gathers under to play checkers or just to hang out, that very relationship is what this cultural arts center thrives on as it is the culture of the site the stepping stone and sense of community the center needs, and these trees are what helped define the plan and voids within the plan as these trees in my vision can not be torn down.

So I've been bored this summer and haven't had any luck getting an internship in the building or architecture field, so as my hobby I've decided to branch out and do some graphic designing/t-shirt designs...hope you like what you see!
